黄昏时，她们把陌生人抬进死者的房间，
焦油气味，红色悬铃木柔和地沙沙声，
寒鸦隐秘地飞翔，一个哨兵在广场上行进。
太阳沉落在黑色亚麻织物里，这逝去的黄昏一次次归来。
扎加洛夫斯基和特拉克尔之间有没有师承关系？或者只是偶见的异曲同工式相撞？我读到这首《在路上》的这前四行，立刻想起亚当的那首《在大教堂跟前》：
At the Cathedral's Foot

In June once, in the evening,
returning from a long trip,
with memories of France's blooming trees
still fresh in our minds,
its yellow fields, green plane trees
sprinting before the car,
we sat on the curb at the cathedral's foot
and spoke softly about disasters,
about what lay ahead, the coming fear,
and someone said this was the best
we could do now-
to talk of darkness in that bright shadow.
