　　《文化移入碰撞下的三重意识》采用非洲裔美国文学批评的方法，以W.E.B.杜波依斯的双重意识理论和笔者提出的三重意识思想为理论框架来研究理查德·赖特的四部长篇小说《土生子》、《局外人》、《长梦》和《今日的主》，指出非洲裔美国人的第三种意识是一种强大的精神力量，促使一代又一代黑人为实现种族平等而进行不懈的斗争。
