版权页：插图：The lake area in the southeasternpart covers an expanse of 496,000 squaremeters. There are eight lakes of differentsizes: the West Lake, the Cheng Lake, theRuyi Lake, the Upper Lake, the LowerLake, the Silver Lake, the Mirror Lakeand the Half Moon Lake. These lakesas a whole were called Sai Lake. Thearchitectural styles of the lake area aremostly modeled on the famous landscapegardens of southern China. For instance,the Tower of Mist and Rain is a copy ofthe Tower of Mist and Rain at NanhuLake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province.The northern part of the MountainResort is a plain area. Few buildingscan be found here. This area is mainlydominated by grasslands, forests, givingout a strong flavor of areas beyond theGreat Wall. The northwestern part is themountain area which covers two thirdsof the total area of the resort. Rangingfrom south to north are 4 successivevalleys: Zhenzi Yu （Hazels Valley）,Lishu Yu （Pear Trees Valley ）, SonglinYu （Pine Trees Valley ） and Songyun Xia（Pine Clouds Valley ）.

吕明伟，2002年北京林业大学园林学院毕业，山东沂水景观设计师，从事景观规划设计及理论研究工作，在《中国园林》、《开发研究》等学术期刊发表学术论文十余篇，发表专业著作六部。
Lu Mingwei, graduated from the garden school of Beijing Forestry
University, now is a landscape designer of Yishui County, Shandong
Province, engaging in landscape planning and design, as well as
theory research, having published six professional works and more
than ten research papers on academic journals, such as Chinese
Garden, Development and Research, etc.
