Immunology: An Illustrated Outline is designed to be used as a concise review and as a pocket-sized, illustrated dictionary of immunology. The book is organized into five sections corresponding to the principal topics of immunology (The Immune System, Antigen Recognition, Immune Responses, Immunopathology and Immunological Techniques) and within these sections, lists of core terms and concepts are followed by short, straightforward definitions. Simple illustrations serve to amplify the text and well-planned design layout makes cross-referencing between definitions easy. An Index of Terms allows the reader to locate quickly the definition being sought and makes this book the only rapid access source of immunological terminology.
