版权页:   插图:    Now China National Radio and local radio stations broadcast in 21 languages ofethnic minorities every day. Provincial-level TV stations of Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Tibet,Qinghai and Guangxi provide programs in Mongolian, Uygur, Tibetan and Zhuang languagesrespectively. Tibet TV Station has realized 24-hour broadcasting of programs in Tibetanlanguage. Xinjiang TV Station broadcasts in languages of Uygur, Hart, Kazak and Mongolian.TV stations of prefecture level or below in areas inhabited by ethnic minorities also provideprograms in more than 10 ethnic languages, such as Korean, Kazak, Kirgiz and Dai. Rapid progress has been made in dubbing of films and TV plays into languages of ethnicminorities over the past 60 years. At present, China has set up film dubbing centers intolanguages of ethnic minorities in 10 provinces and autonomous regions such as Tibet, InnerMongolia and Xinjiang. In 2008 alone, China granted subsidy of 130 million yuan to dubbedfilms and TV plays, and the dubbing work has stepped into the digital stage.Ethnic minorities in films and TV plays In 2005, a TV play named Ancient Tea Route was broadcast during prime time on ChinaCentral Television. From this play, many people got to know the Ancient Tea Route, an ancienttrade route running through more than 20 areas in southeast China inhabited by ethnicminorities. The TV play recaptures the story of Tibetan, Bai and Naxi caravans on the ancienttea route fighting against invasion by Japanese army in 1942. The TV play started a craze of"ancient tea route" at home and abroad. Ancient Tea Route is not only a TV play on patriotism, but also a play displaying multi-ethnic cultures. The sacrifice ceremony of ancient Naxi style, or Dongba style, in the TV play, isguided by teachers from local school of Dongba culture. The splendid culture of ethnic groupsin southeast China displayed in the TV play is true to life with full respect to local ethnicculture. It is a rare TV play in Chinese history of TV plays with the theme of multi-ethnicculture, and major members of the production crew are from Yunnan or have deep relationswith Yunnan. "We representatives of 26 ethnic groups, hold ceremony of sacrificing cow here and drinkmantra water on behalf of people of all ethnic groups in Pu'er. From this moment on we willbe united and vow to work for an equal, free and happy big family under the leadership of theCommunist Party of China!" This is inscription on the Pledge Monument of Ethnic Unity inPu'er County, Yunnan Province. A TV play named Jinfeng Bloom reproduces the history of thepledge monument according to this history in the 1950s.In 2011, a TV play Madame Shexiang, which presents the great woman leader of Yi ethnicgroup, attracted people's eyes into southeast China again. Audience rating of this play was growingrapidly, because it presents the experience of Shexiang, a legendary women leader of Yi ethnic group,who led her people to develop on their own and safeguard national unification. Meanwhile, the TVplay also displays Yi culture. With decorations of Madame Shexiang and the charming scenery ofireas Yi people live, the play portrays the heroine's life flail of twists. Some people commented thatthe TV play seemed to bring the audience to the Yi place of 600 years ago.
