《今日昔日香港－香港航空照片集》共有１６０頁，主要載錄自１９５０年代以來拍攝的航空照片和地面照片。照片集除了收錄香港一些令人讚歎的景致和地貌照片外，亦對照建築物、地標、運輸總站、道路、橋樑、休閒地點等的新舊照片，帶領讀者踏上時空旅程，回顧香港今昔。

拍攝航空照片是地政總署測繪處其中一項主要職能，自１９６８年起成為該處的常規工作。照片集亦讓讀者對航空攝影測量工作有全新的體會。

The 160-page “Hong Kong Now and Then – A Collection of Hong Kong Aerial Photos” is a newly compiled photo book containing aerial photos and ground shots taken since the 1950s. Apart from photos of stunning views and geographical features in Hong Kong, the photo book also contains the recent and old photos of buildings, landmarks, transport terminus, roads, bridges, leisure places, etc., which remind readers of the past.

Taking aerial photos is one of the key functions of the SMO, and has become its regular work since 1968. The photo book aims to provide readers with a new perspective of aerial photography.
