　　It is noticeable that many people drive cars to travel to and from work. Most of these cars run on fuel，which produces hydrocarbon and other gases including carbon dioxide. If owners of such cars switch tothe use of gas and bio-fuel， the reduction of carbon dioxide in the atmospherewill be a starting point. Thelight and the lighting system can be changed to the use of low energy bulbs thus reducing the amount ofelectricity. A further cut in the electricity consumption can be achieved by switching off allstand-by electrical equipmentduring idte for example， photocopiers， computer screens， and printers.Further reduction in the consumption of electricity can be achieved by wearing， coo！ clothing andswitching off the air conditioner equipment once the cooling temperature has been attained. Properinsulation of the rooms wiU prevent the cool air from escaping from the rooms.
