　　中国的温泉旅游业随着国民经济的飞速发展，人民物质生活水平的进一步提高和精神生活品味的提升而迅速发展起来。而且，随着社会经济水平的提高，人的消费需求从单一化走向多元化，引发温泉服务业人性化、个性化、多元化的发展。　　随着温泉旅游行业的市场细分，越来越多的温泉衍生产品走向国际化的道路，从最基本的服务于外国游客到组织更加高端的国际会议，温泉企业对英语人才的需求也更加紧迫。然而，遍观如今的教材市场，还没有一本专门适合旅游院校温泉专业大中专学生学习，适合温泉一线服务人员培训和中高层人员管理使用的专业温泉旅游英语书籍。本书是在此业态背景之下，在御温泉国际和吉林大学珠海学院的共同努力下诞生的。　　本书共分为知识篇、服务篇和管理篇三部分。其中知识篇着重介绍了古今中外温泉的基本知识和温泉旅游行业发展的概况，共分为三章，分别为：温泉文化与温泉旅游；走进温泉的世界和走进世界的温泉。服务篇着重介绍了温泉接待服务、温泉沐浴服务的流程及温泉相关产业如餐饮、住宿、旅游、商务服务的基本知识。共包括六章，内容涉及前台服务、沐浴服务、餐饮服务、酒店服务、会议服以及购物休闲等内容。在每一章节下面分别设置了“典型句式”、“情景对话”、“背景知识”和“术语总汇”四个部分，使用者可以根据需要摘选。比如，一线服务人员的基本英语对话训练可以着重于“典型句式”和“情景对话”部分，而中层管理者则可以利用“背景知识”的大量介绍，既增加英语阅读量又提高对温泉专业知识的掌握。管理篇包括四章，从更深刻的市场营销、客户管理、人力资源管理和企业文化等方面进行深入的分析和研究。在这一部分，除了前面所包含的简单实用的英语常用句式、生动实际的对话实例和深入浅出的背景知识外，编者根据在御温泉国际实地调研过程中收集到的一线员工工作中的真实事迹和御温泉国际管理的实际编写了大量的案例，供所有学习者更好地研究并分别提出了值得思索和讨论的温泉服务问题。　　……
