内容概要

李美霞，文学博士，北京第二外国语学院英语系副教授、硕士生导师，全国语言与符号学学会常务理事，中国高校功能语言学研究会会员。主要研究兴趣为语篇学、功能语言学、认知语言学和符号学。在外语类核心期刊及较著名期刊上发表学术论文30余篇，出版专著一部，合作编写、注释著作两部。主持省部级科研项目一项，参与国家社科基金科研项目一项，承担其它科研项目四项。

本书是作者在给英语语言文学专业硕士研究生讲授韩礼德的《功能语法导论》过程中根据中国学生的特点编写的一本教材。全书分十一章，第一章为背景信息，主要讨论语法、语法研究、语法研究的历史、功能语法和形式语法的区别、功能语言学的传统、系统功能语法的定义、应用等。第二章论述系统功能语法的特点和基本概念。第三章概述功能语法体系诸如语境、语义系统、词汇语法系统、语境与语义及词汇语法之间的关系、语域与语类之间的关系等。第四章论述经验意义的实现，包括及物系统、作格分析、语态等。第五章讨论人际意义的实现，包括语气、情态、调式、评价等。第六、七、八三章主要探讨语篇意义的实现，包括主位结构、信息结构和衔接。第九章讨论词组的有关问题诸如经验结构、逻辑结构等。第十章阐述逻辑意义(或逻辑元功能)的实现。第十一章考察表达的隐喻方式，包括概念隐喻、人际隐喻等。

　　全书用英语写作，采用“实践－理论－实践”的方法讲述理论知识，使枯燥的语法理论清晰、明了、易懂。本书不仅可用作高校英语语言文学专业研究生功能语法课程教材或辅助教材，而且还可供广大英语教师、英语专业高阶段学习者参考使用。
