作者简介

新修订的《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》中明确提出：“口译课是为高年级学生开设的英语基本技能课程。通过讲授口译基本理论、口译背景知识和训练口译的基本技巧，使学生掌握口译的基本理论和专题连续传译的技能，初步学会口译记忆方法、口头概述、口译笔记及公众演讲技巧，以求学生能准确、流畅地进行汉英对译。”本教程就是按照这一要求尝试编写的。

    教程共包含10个单元，内容涉及民族、经济、教育、科技、文化、环保、旅游、国防、体育、 医疗等多个方面。每单元的编写体例由英汉口译、泽英口译、词汇及口译技巧与补充词汇和语句组成。编著试图把新颖的内容、鲜活的词语呈现在学生的面前，以折射出新世纪社会发展的语言轨迹，引导学生接纳新词语，学好新词语，用好新词语，了解口译的新内容。本教材适用于大学生、研究生和英语自学者。
