英语语言文学博士，湖南师范大学外国语学院副教授，美国纽约州立大学访问学者。主要研究方向：文学翻译、口语教学。已出版《阿瑟·韦利翻译研究》《英语口语教程》等著作(教材)5部．在《外语与外语教学》等刊物发表论文数篇。主持教育部人文社会科学研究基金项目、湖南省社会科学基金项目等。
