《2000上海国际智能交通及管理技术研讨会论文集》内容简介：2000年上海国际智能交通及管理技术研讨会在上海市科学技术委员会、荷兰交通部和欧洲智能交通协会的共同努力及德国BPV公司的合作组织下，已于2000年11月17日至18日在上海举行。近几年来，智能交通系统的重要性已日益引起人们的重视，它将成为21世纪道路交通的发展趋势，也将是一个现代化城市的标志之一，会给人们的出行带来更安全、准时和高效的保障。上海市科委同荷兰交通部、ERTICO在几年前就相互表达了在ITS领域进行技术交流和合作的兴趣。2000年4月，在上海市科学技术委员会同荷兰交通部的共同促进下，上海与荷兰有关单位签订了关于“上海市高架道路交通阻塞症结分析和研究”的合作备忘录，并顺利地开始实施。
