本书译自苏联《外国文学》杂志一九六一年第六、七期。《舞台生涯》是卓氏一九五一年在美国拍摄的最后一部喜剧片。本片在一定程度上可以说是作者的象征性自传，他在影片中使用了很多记忆中的童年时代伦敦游艺场的素材。中国电影出版社提供了这个脚本的译文。

我很怀念那时候一晚上一口气读下这书的日子.记得先买的大约是<续侠隐记>,然后就到小书店里去查<侠隐记>和<小侠隐记>,陆续花了半年多时间才买到的.那时是在内蒙的呼市,记得是在85年.书店也不是什么大的店,估计今天已经关掉很多年了.但是有海峡出版社的金庸<射雕英雄传>,是两本头的,后来还有<书剑恩仇录>卖了,还有<神雕侠侣>可以征订的.所以看这书时,才知道伍光建,后来才知道傅雷的,知道这批翻译家是真正最早的一批.而达特安,小人书上是达达尼央,给人很深的印象.才对版本感兴趣.就买了萨克雷节选简本的塞万提斯<唐吉诃德的冒险故事>(陈伯吹还是任溶溶译?).所以这本书是真的最令人怀念的名著之一.这种读书的感觉,已经好久没有了. -
晚上看的时候，真是欲罢不能，恨不得一口气读完，但时间太晚，第二天早晨醒来，第一件事情就是继续看！翻译有着很明显的中国风格，修士=和尚，修道院=庙，奶酪=牛乳腐……不过正因为这样，而使得整个剧情更加贴近生活，让读者非常享受。人名的翻译就让人有些痛苦了，如果不看注释，我永远也想不到显理第三就是亨利三世，而且为了更贴近国人习惯，人名大多都是翻成三个字，比如达达尼昂就成了达特安。能从旧书店淘来此书，实则大幸也！ -

大爱这种翻译风格 -
《侠隐记》，抽出这本书之前，还以为是武侠小说什么的；一看封面，好生困惑；再看序言，竟是《三个火枪手》；翻开正文，乐了，好个高端大气上档次的白话译文O(∩_∩)O -

偶然淘到宝，伍光建旧白话武侠味，最爱密李狄 -
长篇巨著的开端 早期的译本看着有点不习惯 -

读的第一个版本，也是我认为最好的版本 -
侠隐记的译者是伍光建。这一版本和别的译本比，更好的表达了原著中的任侠之气。更有慷慨之声。 -
假日重温，都记不清这个三部曲买过多少个版本了……这本是看得最早的，伍先生的译笔极有趣，看到结尾达特安的眼泪和阿托士的安慰伤心了好久，然后为了二十年后的故事牵挂了更久。 -
