作者简介

威廉•巴特勒•叶芝(William Butler Yeats,1865-1939)是爱尔兰最伟大的诗人,1923年诺贝尔文学奖得主,被另一位大诗人托•斯•艾略特推崇为“二十世纪英语世界最伟大的诗人”。他的诗作在爱尔兰家喻户晓,在我国也愈来愈广为人知。《在你年老时》等名作被认为是二十世纪最美的情诗。今年是叶芝诞辰150周年,爱尔兰及世界多地(包括我国)都举行了各种形式的纪念活动。本书精选汉译叶芝诗157首,由叶芝研究专家、译者傅浩加以重新修订,与标准版叶芝诗原文对照刊出,并附有关叶芝生平和作品的照片若干,作为向诗人致敬的一份冥寿献礼。
