版权页：插图：My first job was as a waitress. I was working in a very nice hotel in a small town. Usually there are a lot of tourists in the summer, so they needed more people to help out. I arrived there in the evening and met some girls. They were also working in the hotel. They were all very friendly and we had dinner together. After dinner,we sat around the table and talked with each other. I went to bed very late. I wokeup at seven fifteen the next morniiag, but I had to be at work in the dinning room at seven thirty in the morning. I quickly put my clothes on and rushed to the hotel.Thank fully the hotel was near my home, so I was in time to serve breakfast！After serving breakfast, at about ten o'clock, we had our own breakfast. I was really hungry by then. When we finished our breakfast, we started to get the dinning room ready for lunch. We cleaned the silver, set the tables and mopped the floor.Then it was time to serve lunch. After lunch we had our own lunch. Then we were free in the afternoon. I even had time to go for a walk with one of the other girls. Atsix we went back to work. We finished serving dinner at about ten thirty. I was tiredat the end of the day. To my surprise, I loved the job after a while.
